<p>We are looking for an experienced <strong>Technical Delivery Manager – Workday and People Systems</strong> to lead the delivery, support, and continuous improvement of our critical HR technology platforms, the core of which is Workday. <p><strong>About the role </strong></p>
<p>As Technical Delivery Manager, you will lead a specialist team responsible for the delivery, support and governance of Workday and our wider People Systems landscape. You will combine strong technical expertise with delivery leadership, ensuring solutions are delivered effectively while maintaining high levels of service performance and platform security.</p>
<p>Reporting to the Head of Colleague Solutions, you will manage a team of 6–8 colleagues and work closely with the Technical Solution Owner, People &amp; Culture teams, Recruitment, Payroll and external partners to deliver business value through technology.</p>
<p>Additional responsibilities and accountabilities include:</p>
<ul>
<li>Manage the delivery of People Systems solutions using methodology, from User Story Refinement to deployment and live service support.</li>
<li>Managing and developing a skilled HR Solutions Delivery team, providing coaching, technical guidance and career development support.</li>
<li>Acting as a technical subject matter expert for Workday and People Systems, ensuring best-practice configuration and implementation approaches.</li>
<li>Managing third-party suppliers and implementation partners to ensure successful delivery outcomes.</li>
<li>Contributing to the People Systems roadmap and overseeing regular development and release cycles.</li>
<li>Ensuring all solutions meet quality, testing, architecture and service transition standards.</li>
<li>Leading specialist 2nd and 3rd line support services, ensuring service levels are consistently achieved or exceeded.</li>
<li>Driving ITIL-aligned service management practices, incident resolution and continuous improvement initiatives.</li>
<li>Owning security, access governance, data governance and audit readiness across supported platforms.</li>
<li>Building strong relationships across Technology and People &amp; Culture teams to support organisational objectives.</li>
</ul>
<p>This position has been classified as a hybrid role, requiring the selected candidate to typically spend 40-60% of their time collaborating and connecting face-to-face at their dedicated location. <p><strong>About You </strong></p>
<p>You will be an experienced technology leader with strong Workday expertise, a passion for service excellence, and a track record of leading high-performing teams.</p>
<p>To be successful, you&#8217;ll demonstrate:</p>
<ul>
<li>Extensive knowledge of Workday and People Systems.</li>
<li>Workday HCM certification and at least one additional Workday certification. Strong knowledge of ITIL and Scrum frameworks.</li>
<li>At least five years&#8217; experience, or demonstrable experience, in technical and functional configuration of Workday.</li>
<li>Strong understanding of Workday security, access governance, data governance, audit readiness and data privacy.</li>
<li>Proven experience delivering solutions using agile methodologies.</li>
<li>Significant experience of incident management, change management and IT service management practices.</li>
<li>Experience leading and developing technical teams.</li>
<li>Proactive approach to continuous improvement and ensuring system health.</li>
<li>Excellent stakeholder management, communication and presentation skills.</li>
<li>Strong analytical, organisational and problem-solving skills.</li>
<li>Degree-level qualification or equivalent professional experience.</li>
</ul>

<p>The Senior Developer helps deliver and evolve our digital products and services by designing, building and supporting complex applications within the Exam Technology Organisation. Working in an agile squad, you&#8217;ll turn requirements into reliable solutions while mentoring colleagues and championing engineering standards.</p>

<li>Design, develop, test and maintain working software for complex enterprise applications.</li>
<li>Analyse requirements and produce solution designs (including documentation and delivery estimates) that meet functional and non-functional needs.</li>
<li>Provide technical and business support to customers, the helpdesk and colleagues to meet operational requirements and resolve issues.</li>
<li>Perform unit and system testing, as well as support wider testing (SIT &amp; UAT) and training activities with relevant stakeholders.</li>
<li>Track and report progress against agreed timelines and budget constraints, escalating risks and blockers appropriately.</li>
<li>Share knowledge and mentor other developers to improve team effectiveness and promote consistent engineering standards.</li>

<p><strong>About you</strong></p>
<p>A successful applicant will bring strong software engineering fundamentals, a collaborative mindset and the drive to improve how we deliver and support business‑critical services.</p>

<li><strong>Programming Languages and Tools:</strong> Knowledge and experience in Oracle PL/SQL, Oracle Forms and Reports is essential. Knowledge of Master Data Management and experience in the Informatica IDMC toolset &#8211; MDM SaaS, Reference 360, CDI and CAI &#8211; are highly desired.</li>
<li><strong>Modern software development expertise:</strong> Confident designing, coding, testing and maintaining complex applications.</li>

<p>Edge Hill University is seeking to appoint independent members (charity trustees) to join our Board of Governors and contribute to our continued growth and success.</p>
<p>The University has over 14,000 students studying at both undergraduate and postgraduate level and employs more than 2,000 staff. Edge Hill’s significant success in achieving its mission is recognised by a range of awards including Educate North’s University of the Year 2020/21. It is one of the select few to have held the coveted Modern University of the Year title (2022),awarded by the Times and Sunday Times; and the UK University of the Year (2014) awarded by Times Higher Education.   It was ranked in the UK Top 35 universities (Guardian University Guide 2024), 5th in the UK (Uni Compare 2026) and is a Top 4 North West Institution (Complete University Guide 2025). It is also the safest campus in the North West according to the same guide. In 2024, it was the first University to achieve Ofsted Outstanding for all phases of its Initial Teacher Training provision under the new Inspection Framework.</p>

<p>Due to further growth at The Howard Academy Trust, we are seeking to appoint an IT infrastructure engineer to join our central team. The IT infrastructure engineer will work with the Head of IT with a focus on managing and maintaining the Trusts IT infrastructure. You will need to ensure that secure, efficient and reliable operations within our schools are maintained to the agreed standard. As part of our continued investment into providing the best possible IT provision to our schools, we are seeking to appoint an Infrastructure engineer to strengthen the team.</p>
<p>This is a permanent role (22.2 hours per week/0.6 FTE) paid on NJC scale B1 points 20-25 (FTE £30,296 &#8211; £33,945 = £18,177- £20,367 actual salary per annum).</p>
<p>This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Infrastructure engineer in a comparable setting to utilise their experience and expertise to ensure that all aspects of the Trust IT infrastructure are meeting the needs of our schools.  As we continue to evolve, we are seeking a talented Infrastructure Engineer to join our team and contribute to our mission of safeguarding digital assets and protecting our Trust’s data.  You will need a full clean driving licence as travel between sites is essential.</p>

<p><strong>Reports to:</strong> Director of IT</p>
<p><strong>Contracted Hours:</strong> 40 hours per week, all year round.</p>
<p><strong>Salary in region of £35k per annum, dependent on experience</strong></p>
<p>This is an exciting opportunity for someone with excellent analytical skills and a passion for data management. Previous experience of data systems in a school setting is preferable.</p>
<p>The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in maintaining and optimising the school&#8217;s data systems. Responsible for production, analysis, interpretation, and dissemination of student and academic data, informing strategic decisions and statutory reporting.</p>
<p>In liaison with the SMT and Director of IT, they will provide assistance and support in strategic management of whole school ICT and provide efficient and effective organisation of the school’s assessment, reporting, recording and tracking systems. To ensure the accuracy, security, and accessibility of critical educational data, empowering our staff and students with the information they need to succeed.</p>
<p>This role will support our teams to maximise the opportunities that data and technology offer to further learning outcomes, and organisational efficiencies.</p>

<p>This is an exciting opportunity to lead the next phase of IT and digital development within this historic and world leading Schools Group.</p>
<p>With School-wide responsibility for IT, the role holder will be responsible for all aspects of IT systems including strategy, implementation, management, administration and review, ensuring that the facilities and services meet the evolving needs of the School. This post also has a key role in the development of digital learning, working with senior staff on horizon-scanning and implementation of new ways and approaches to learning.</p>
<p>The role holder will manage the IT team to enhance efficiency and meet evolving requirements, including overseeing cyber-security and compliance, ensuring reliable IT operations; and managing budgets and key stakeholder relationships.</p>
