Global Merchant and Network Services (GMNS) lead our company efforts to accelerate merchant coverage and to ensure Welcomed Acceptance for our Card members.
Our strategy to increase Amex acceptance across small merchants is driven primarily through 3rd party partners ranging from fast-growing fintech Payment Facilitators to long-established businesses that originated from banks. The UK based Payment Facilitators and Small Merchant Partnerships team (PF & SMP) manage a base of over 3M+ small merchant relationships across UK & Europe.
Across Europe, we’ve seen tremendous success in recent years with soaring small merchant coverage and we’re now embarking on the next phase to take our acceptance to unprecedented levels. Critical to that will be ensuring our teams have best in class analytics and insights to fuel our growth.
This opportunity is to join our Insights and Reporting team sitting within the PF & SMP team and responsible for carrying out regular data analytics and performance reporting around key acceptance metrics.
You will provide support with dynamic projects and business critical updates to achieve coverage and revenue growth of the business. The team also provides Sales enablement and Account management support covering functional and operational processes specific to the PF & SMP, to help the business achieve goals efficiently. We are looking for a strong and experienced, self-driven data analytics professional. This role will be supporting partners and colleagues across the wider team and represents a great opportunity to gain experience in a fun and fast paced environment. The Business Analyst will be working very closely with the Partner Management teams to provide and facilitate reporting and analytics solutions as well as collaborating closely with key business partners like Marketing, Compliance and Central data insights teams to make sure that managers are well equipped with their partner’s key results to drive business objectives. The role provides a great deal of exposure into the workings of merchant recruitment and partner managers. We ensure a wide range of opportunities to grow and shine in a commercial environment by utilising their skills and experience.
