Up to £60,000 – £80,000 + company benefits

This is a hands-on role where you will be required to lead the development of technology and Enterprise Architecture (EA) across the business at all levels; software/application development, data, security, and technology which ensures that all business activities are aligned within the context of the strategy framework. This will include monitoring and assessing new technology (such as AI, Machine Learning, and Automation) and other advances to drive efficiencies and innovation.

The role will ensure a close relationship with the business to assist in the choice and development of IT solutions adherence to the enterprise architecture, whilst also overseeing operational and support excellence.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Responsible for overseeing operational support in technology areas such as Microsoft (Azure, Office365, Intune), and Aruba technologies together with other internal teams and outsourced providers.
• Oversee the support and management of Active Directory including managing/maintaining GPO’s.
• Managing, deploying, and maintaining security infrastructure across the division, including implementing, and overseeing security systems, such as firewalls, data protection controls, and encryption.
• Responsible for the definition, design, and interpretation of technical architecture artefacts taken from user requirements specifications or in direct discussions with the business, to create a solutions architecture to meet business requirements.
• Define the target architectures, and the roadmaps and timescales for these architectures to ensure the most effective use of technology and digital services whilst delivering the required business outcomes.

SKILLS REQUIRED:

• 5+ years hands-on technical support experience and a comprehensive understanding of working within Enterprise Architecture environments.
• Proven track record of driving and leading large-scale architectural projects throughout an entire business through to completion.
• Experience in Solution Design & Architecture.
• Robust knowledge of Security & Data Architecture.
