Finance Administrator – Barbican, London

We’re working with a great software development company in London. They are looking for a Finance Administrator with a strong interest in operations to manage financial reporting, invoicing, payroll, and working with external accountants.
Key Responsibilities
Financial Reporting & Administration:
– Ensure timely, accurate payments and resolve discrepancies
– Lead weekly payment meetings with the CFO
– Perform account reconciliations using NetSuite and Payhawk
– Maintain the general ledger and support audits
Process Improvement:
– Oversee invoicing, client payments, and cash flow optimisation
– Review and streamline financial processes
Financial Operations:
– Prepare payroll details for external accountants
– Manage payment runs and regulatory filings (e.g., VAT returns)
– Mitigate client financial risks
What We’re Looking For
– 2+ years’ experience in an accounts team
– Actively studying or aiming to pursue AAT ACCA, or CIMA qualifications
– Proficient in NetSuite and Google Sheets
– Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting
– Highly organised with excellent attention to detail
