A leading IT Consultancy is seeking a Functional Murex Developer on a contract basis.

One-of-a-kind opportunity to dive into Murex Front Office Product upgrade and BAU work for a Bank. To explore and learn new features, find new solution on Murex and help to improve the implementation as a Functional Consultant.

The role:

• Act as Murex Developer to perform Murex platform upgrade or BAU activities
• Knowledge of Murex Front Office, Operations (OSP workflows), MXML exchange and infrastructure
  • (a) Murex Development/Configuration
  • (b) Murex Interfaces
  • (c) Java Development/Configuration
• Developing scripts, customizing implementation of applications.
• Writing test plans and test cases to ensure that enhancements made to applications meet client requirements and maintain application integrity.
• Works directly with clients at client site.
• Identify issues & drive them to closure.
• Handle delivery with minimum escalations.
• Review all deliverables as per the delivery checklist.
• Conduct demos for customers as and when required.
• Provide inputs on goal setting and performance appraisals of team.
• Identify skill gaps and training needs required.
• Provide input into the learning and career plans for team members.
• Identify training needs of team members and provide coaching support to them.
• Mentor team and Nominate team for awards
• Conduct training through academy and induction of new team members
• Good verbal and written communication skills with technical and non-technical audiences at different hierarchical
• levels
• Good analytical, decision-making, problem-solving, interpersonal, teamwork, negotiation, conflict management and time management skills
• Ability to persuade and influence others of the best course of action

Essential Skills:

• Murex Developer for Front Office understanding
• Understanding of Simulation, Curves, Market Data, P/L VAR, Live Book
• Murex Operations (OSP workflows)
• Murex MxML (Interface Development)
• Java development/configuration
