My prestigious insurance client is looking to recruit an innovation lead within the Research and Development space.

My client is an insurance provider who specialises in emerging risk and is a market leader in cyber. Their insurance system uses innotive technology and data science to deliver smarter, faster underwriting.

We are looking for an individual who has

• Ideally from an insurance background.
• Team lead – 3-5 people
• 5 years research and development experience
• Cyber experience and Cyber threat experience
• Degree in computer science or equivalent
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Agile/Scrum background.

We appreciate the in an R&D role you may not be used to following a methodology; however, my client is adopting Agile and would like the individual to have an understanding of Agile or someone who has worked within an Agile environment.

Lead a team of researchers and developers in the development of new products, services, and processes.

Identify and assess technologies and trends that have the potential to impact my client’s business.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for innovation and develop strategies to pursue them.

Manage the research and development resources, including the allocation of personal and prioritization of the work.

Develop and maintain strong relationships with external partners, including academic institutions and industry partners.
