Junior Developer

Role Type – Permanent

Location – Central London

Salary – £30-£35k base

Office work – 3 days per week for the first 6 months

An established tech firm based in central London are looking for a Junior Developer motivated to progressing their career and become a big part of the team helping progress it forward. The successful candidate will be involved in many aspects of the technical environment and work alongside other members of the Technical team, Client Operations team and the company as a whole.

For this role you will need:

• Graduate in a relevant area eg computing, mathematics, data science, technology, etc. or Junior Developer with 2 years’ experience
• An interest in the use of technology in the finance industry
• Intellectually curious, strong problem solving and analytical skilll
• Some knowledge of application development technical terminology and techniques eg Back End, Front End, API, Version Control, Continuous Integration, etc.

Personal Traits

• Able to fit in and work comfortably with our small teams in an approachable manner
• Keen communicator with an excellent grasp of the English language (other languages would be a bonus)
• Meticulous attention to detail and documentation, repeatability and consistency
• Self-starter equally capable of fine detail and bigger-picture thinking and problem solving
