Join a fast growing Financial Services Team as a QA Technician in Liverpool!

We are currently seeking an experienced and detail-oriented QA Technician to join our client’s growing Financial Services team located in the vibrant city of Liverpool. The successful candidate will have exceptional attention to detail with a wealth of experience within the Quality Assurance sector.

Key Responsibilities:

– QA support activities working in developer workstreams
– Writing / performing QA tests
– Logging onto database’s to Track through end to end
– Conduct quality control testing on products and services.
– Develop test plans for new or updated software applications.
– Identify issues, bugs, and defects that may arise during product development cycle
– Work closely with cross-functional teams including developers, project manage

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate should possess :

– A strong understanding of how Developers bring systems to life
– Quality assurance / Software Testing certification from reputable organization like ISTQB etc
– Degree level qualification preferably Computer Science/IT related field
– Strong manual experience, as this will out weigh the automation element of the role

Skills Required:

To be considered for this role you must demonstrate proficiency/experience in:

-Automated Testing
– Functional Testing & Smoke Testing
-SQL Querying skills
-API/Microservices/Web Services based application(s) exposure

Salary Offered – 40,000- 45,000 per annum (Depending on experience)
