I am working with a global organisation who are going through a great period of growth at the moment. They are now on the market for someone to come in and join their Audit practice and leverage technical and data-backed processes to audit clients across a wide range of industries.

This opportunity is ideal for an audit professional who has transitioned into a data analytics role and is passionate about leveraging data to transform auditing. You will work with ambitious, entrepreneurial companies across sectors like financial services, utilizing advanced analytics and visualization tools to provide key insights and ensure transparency.

The role requires solid auditing expertise combined with proven data analytics capabilities in tools like Power BI, SQL, Alteryx – and if you’ve got some Python or SAS then even better. You will evaluate complex IFRS and credit risk models, identify trends and anomalies, understand IT and business processes, and highlight risks.

The successful candidate will have:

• A solid background in audit and have transitioned into a Data Analytics role more recently
• Financial services data controls and IT audit background
• Ability to interpret IT risks and internal control weaknesses
• Strong communication skills to liaise with clients and lead teams
• A passion for mentoring junior staff and upholding audit quality
• An agile, collaborative work style

You’ll also get the chance to dip your toe into the emerging technologies market as they work with a handful of clients who are hands on with things such as AI, RPA, Blockchain, and immersive technology.
