Calypso Developer – Inside IR35 – 2 days onsite

As a Calypso Developer, you will play a crucial role in the design, development, and support of our Calypso trading platform. You will work closely with various stakeholders to understand business requirements, provide technical solutions, and ensure seamless integration and performance of the system. Your expertise will be vital in enhancing our trading capabilities and maintaining our competitive edge in the market.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement, and support Calypso trading system components.
• Collaborate with business analysts, traders, and other stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements.
• Design and develop custom extensions, modules, and workflows within the Calypso framework.
• Optimize system performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure reliability and efficiency.
• Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to best practices and coding standards.
• Provide technical support and guidance to users and other team members.
• Stay updated with the latest developments in Calypso and financial technologies.

Skills required:

• Proven experience as a Calypso Developer in a financial institution.
• Strong programming skills in Java and familiarity with other relevant technologies (eg, SQL, XML, Unix/Linux).
• In-depth knowledge of the Calypso platform, including its architecture and components.
• Experience with front-to-back trade processing and risk management.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
