Senior PMO – SAP S/4 Hana Programme Full Time

Protiviti, the global management consultancy are partnering with a leading UK retail client embarking on a highly complex and business-critical SAP S/4HANA transformation programme. This large-scale initiative will modernise their core ERP system, enabling greater efficiency and supporting long-term growth.

As the Interim Senior PMO, you will play a pivotal role in driving the successful delivery of the SAP S/4HANA programme, reporting directly to the Programme Director. Reporting into the PMO Lead, you will be responsible for setting up, managing, and maintaining the programme’s governance framework, providing critical insights and support to ensure on-time delivery and alignment with business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Establish and manage PMO processes, governance, and standards across the SAP S/4HANA programme.
• Develop programme plans, risk/issue registers, and status reporting for senior stakeholders.
• Track programme progress, resources, budget, and dependencies to ensure effective delivery.
• Provide oversight of workstreams, ensuring they are aligned with project objectives.
• Facilitate steering group meetings and maintain clear communication channels across the programme.
• Implement and monitor change management processes across the programme lifecycle.
• Support resource planning, contract management, and financial reporting for the programme.
• Drive continuous improvement in PMO standards and ensure lessons learned are embedded.

Key Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Senior PMO on large, complex ERP programmes e.g. SAP S/4 Hana, Oracle or MS D365.
• Expertise in project and programme governance, risk management, and change control.
• Exceptional stakeholder management skills with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels.
• Advanced knowledge of PMO tools (e.g., MS Project, Jira, or similar tools).
• Highly organised, with the ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
