Solutions Architect – Audio Visual Full Time

We are looking for a solution architect to help with implementing a new cloud lecture capture solution. The role will involve working with various business and technical stakeholders on the overarching design, the changes needed to integrate with various lecture-related systems, and to ensure the platform can scale across the many teaching rooms.

The key skills we are looking for are:

• Experience of delivering enterprise cloud solutions for large organisations.
• Higher Education experience is highly desirable.
• Desirable experience with lecture-capture or enterprise-scale audio/visual-related technologies. Example candidate technologies would be Panopto, Kaltura, Yuja, Sonic Foundry.
• Background as application developer with experience in RESTful API design.
• Experience of integrating on-premise applications with SaaS.
• Able to advise on best practices for process, architecture, integration, and technology co-existence.
• Background in Application Architecture with experience of modern integration strategies, techniques, and designing using a variety of protocols including REST.
• Experience with Amazon AWS / MS Azure platform and related integration services is highly desirable.
• Ability to engage with a wide variety of stakeholders including technical teams, business users, and senior management.
• Has worked in a large agile-based delivery environment.
• Comfortable working on multiple deliverables simultaneously.

Hybrid working: average of 20% onsite, 2-3 days per week.
