As the Content Lead for UNiDAYS, you’ll be leading the creation of engaging and informative content for the UNiDAYS Blog for UK, FR and DE markets, setting the tone and direction for our online narrative. Your role is not only key in driving engagement, but also building towards a sense of community, and aligning content strategies to capture a significant share of SEO, and brand enhancing content. You will align the content strategies with UNiDAYS mission of supporting, enabling, and inspiring young people worldwide to reach their fullest potential.

Day to day responsibilities

• Collaborate with agencies for SEO-focused long-form content and backlink strategies.
• Work closely with Marketing and Commercial teams to coordinate campaign-specific content to build awareness of key moments.
• Passionate about writing student-focused, brand-enhancing blog content that resonates with our audience’s interests and needs.
• Own and manage the blog content calendar for UK, FR & DE markets, overseeing all articles and ensuring clarity across teams.
• Ensure clear communication among teams, maintaining an organised workflow for efficient content production.
• Cross functional collaboration with relevant internal and external stakeholders and departments.
• Monitor content performance metrics, optimising strategies for higher engagement and brand impact.
• Clear attention to detail to ensure that all content meets brand guidelines and tone of voice.
• Research student relevant moments, trends, and topics ensuring the blog resonates with our student audience.
• Strong Commercial awareness – with ability to generate commercially viable content blogs for the UK, FR & DE markets.

• Knowledge of FR & DE student market would be advantageous
• Native-level written and spoken English.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Self-motivated.
• Work well under a pressured, fast-paced environment and meet deadlines without losing quality.
• A flexible attitude and a good team player.

What we need you to have done

• Previous experience in copywriting, content marketing or SEO related fields.
• Proven track record in writing brand-enhancing content.
• Managing or writing for blogs, showcasing the ability to write brand-enhancing content with a strong focus on SEO.
• Shown ability to manage and collaborate with external agencies.
• Demonstrated proofreading experience ensuring content adheres to brand guidelines
• Experience in adapting writing style to match specific brand tone of voice whilst maintaining authenticity.
• Management of content schedules and content calendars.
• Expertise in analysing and optimising content to drive increase in performance metrics, and translating insights into actionable strategies for improving engagement, visibility, and impact.
