IT Support Analyst/First Line Support Analyst
£25-30,000 per annum
Nutfield, Surrey (Near Redhill, RH1)
08:30 – 17:30 – Monday to Friday
*You must be local and have your own car for client visits*
Are you passionate about IT and customer service, have completed a college course or degree and ideally have some IT Support/helpdesk experience?
It is also important that you live locally, we are in a small village in Surrey, and commuting from London isn’t an option.
Come and join a fantastic local technology company, which through expansion has an immediate need for an enthusiastic first-line Support Analyst to join our sister company.
You don’t need to be vastly experienced; some experience troubleshooting desktops, some basic MS 365 knowledge would be useful.
You will also be the first in line to answer the phone so confidence in speaking with users and clear communication skills are essential.
Initially, you will be doing the simpler troubleshooting with clients and less technical tasks in the office such as preparing new devices for clients, basic tasks in MS 365, assisting with projects (under direction from the directors), and other tasks suited to a first-line role. That doesn’t mean there won’t be an opportunity and expectation for you to improve your technical knowledge as you gain more experience, and you should be able to research and troubleshoot problems independently before passing it them to second line.
Not only do they support an array of local companies, they also support the infrastructure for the large managed service building that they are based from (and you would be).
You will be happy speaking with customers on the phone and in an ideal world, solving their problem but if not, taking a clean and concise message to pass on to more experienced members of the team.
They are based at fabulous offices in Nutfield with plenty of parking. They are in 25 acres of countryside with plenty of trails and nature reserves locally for runs and walks when the weather permits.
The two directors are friendly, knowledgeable and passionate about helping you grow. They would encourage you to get involved in additional E-learning and certifications both with MS/Apple tech as well as ITIL.
