As an IT Field Services Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in providing on-site technical support, troubleshooting, and maintenance services to their clients. Your primary responsibility will involve responding to service requests, diagnosing hardware and software issues, implementing solutions, and ensuring seamless operations for our clients’ IT infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

• Respond promptly to client service requests and perform on-site visits as necessary.
• Diagnose and resolve technical issues related to hardware, software, networking, and other IT systems.
• Install, configure, and maintain hardware and software components.
• Collaborate with internal teams to escalate complex issues and ensure timely resolution.
• Document service activities, solutions applied, and maintain accurate records of client configurations.
• Provide technical guidance and support to clients on IT-related matters.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as an IT Field Services Engineer or similar role.
• Strong knowledge of hardware, software, networking, and operating systems.
• Proficiency in troubleshooting and problem-solving in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with clients and team members.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to client sites is essential.
• Essential to obtain/hold UK security clearances such as SC and NPPV3 as required to attend external and varied customer base.
• Obtain and hold relevant and current vendor certifications such as Dell, Lenovo, IBM & HP is highly Desirable.

We are looking for someone who is happy to work from home but travel to client sites across the South East, mainly inside the M25.

Based from home, £35k to £50k
