IT Procurement Specialist/IT Contracts Specialist/IT Commercial Manager
6 – 12 month contract (option for part time or full-time)
£400 p/d Inside IR35/Umbrella

IT Consultancy, Systems Integrator and Reseller require an IT Procurement Specialist to work with one of their public sector/local government clients.

(Workstream 1) – Manage & complete their Enterprise Licence Renewal

Skills required:

• Contract negotiation, vendor management, understanding of software licensing models, strong communication, and project management skills. Experience with Microsoft licensing terms and compliance is crucial, along with a background in IT procurement and awareness of legal aspects of contracts. Familiarity with enterprise software environments and the ability to collaborate with various internal stakeholders are also essential.

Qualifications:

• Professional certifications such as Certified Commercial Contracts Manager (CCCM) or Certified Professional Contracts Manager (CPCM).
• Relevant experience in software licensing, contract negotiation, and vendor management.

Working arrangement:

• Up to Nov 2024
• Remote
• In or Out of Hours – 21hrs per week, 8am-4pm or 9am-5pm or 10am-6pm

(Workstream 2) – Manage & complete a number of contract retenders

Skills required:

• Experienced in Source to Pay (S2P) process in procurement from sourcing via the RFP and ITT processes, to commercial contract negotiations, category management, and supplier performance management.
• Highly skilled in stakeholder management, OJEU procurement process, RFP & ITT preparation, commercial risk assessment, contract negotiations and supplier relationship management.
• Highly skilled in commercial evaluation and risk assessment of bid responses.
• Highly skilled in contract schedules drafting and negotiating different pricing models such as T&M, Fixed Price and Fixed Capacity.
• Experienced in drafting specifications, tender documents, evaluation scoresheets and pricing.
• Experienced in writing business cases, contract schedules, KPIs and SLAs.

Qualifications:

• Professional certifications such as Certified Commercial Contracts Manager (CCCM) or Certified Professional Contracts Manager (CPCM)
• Agile (DSDM) Project Management Practitioner and/or Certified Scrum Master and/or PRINCE 2

Working arrangement:

• 6 – 10 month contract
• Hybrid working
• In or Out of Hours – 35 hrs per week, 8am-4pm or 9am-5pm or 10am-6pm
