The Role

As a Mobile App Engineer at Capital on Tap, you’ll join a fast paced and agile, cross-functional team to deliver customer-focused, accessible features. You will predominantly focus on front-end mobile development across iOS and Android platforms, utilizing technologies like Flutter, Dart, GCP, and Azure.

What you’ll be doing

• Designing and implementing mobile applications for iOS and Android platforms using Flutter and Dart, ensuring cross-platform compatibility.
• Actively participating in team planning and ceremonies to help define, plan, build, and ship new features in a continuous, iterative manner
• Implementing automated tests, collaborating with QA engineers to define testing strategies, identifying and correcting bottlenecks, and fixing bugs.
• Working with UX/UI designers to build user-friendly interfaces and ensuring applications are accessible for all users.
• Providing support for mobile applications, maintaining and improving code quality, and ensuring the performance and responsiveness of applications
• Our Engineers work on a hybrid basis, working from our Shoreditch Offices 1-2 days per week

What we’re looking for

• Strong experience in front-end mobile development, preferably with Flutter/Dart
• Familiarity with cloud platforms like GCP and Azure
• A keen interest in working with a variety of technologies and openness to learning new ones
• Good understanding of agile methodologies and experience working in fast-paced agile teams
• Experience in .NET isn’t essential, but would be nice to have
