We are currently seeking a highly skilled and innovative Payroll Lead to guide our clients team through the discovery phase of new Payroll System implementation. In this role, you will be instrumental in analysing business requirements, identifying optimal solutions, and crafting a robust architecture that aligns with industry best practices.

As the lead for the Payroll Discovery Project, your primary responsibilities will include:

• Business Requirement Review: Conduct a comprehensive review of business requirements to gain a deep understanding of payroll needs.
• Solution Identification: Utilise your expertise to identify and assess solution options, ensuring alignment with organisational objectives and industry standards.
• Detailed Discovery: Lead a detailed exploration of proposed solutions, addressing all aspects, including scheduling and time tracking.
• Solution Comparison: Evaluate and compare different solution options, providing insightful analysis to facilitate decision-making.
• RFP (Request for Proposal): Develop and execute a robust RFP process, guiding the selection of the most suitable payroll solution
• High-Level Design Documentation: Produce detailed high-level design documentation, encompassing architectural considerations and outlining the overall solution approach.
• Solution Architecture Documentation: Create comprehensive documentation illustrating the solution architecture, covering data structures, infrastructure requirements, integration methods, and underlying technologies.
• Risk Assessment: Identify potential risks, assumptions, and dependencies associated with the selected solution and alternative options.
• Final Design Documentation: Prepare detailed documentation for the chosen solution, outlining all implementation requirements.
• Integration Documentation: Document all APIs and integration methods required for the seamless implementation of the chosen payroll solution.
• High-Level Presentation: Deliver a high-level presentation summarising the proposed solution, ensuring clarity for stakeholders.
• Technical Design Authority Documents: Prepare documentation required for the Technical Design Authority, supporting the approval and implementation of the selected solution.
• Gartner Research Analysis: Utilise Gartner research to perform a comprehensive analysis, incorporating best practices into the selected payroll solution.
