WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:

• Reviewing requirements and evaluating risk factors.
• Offering supervision and guidance to our UK operations in alignment with Customer best practices and governance frameworks.
• Ensuring compliance for both on-premises and cloud environments.
• Maintaining a customer-facing role.
• Collaborating as an essential team member in the management and upkeep of Security Assurance standards for our UK operations and programs and implementing governance structures that support the process

YOUR EXPERIENCE:

• Extensive knowledge of TCP/IP based networking concepts
• Strong understanding of HMG/MOD/NCSC standards and frameworks or other industry equivelants.
• Previous experience in a prominent public sector organization
• Proficient analytical skills and excellent verbal and written communication abilities
• One or more of the following Certifications: MSc in Cybersecurity / Certified Information Security Manager (CISM) / Certified Cloud Security Professional (CCSP) / Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) / NCSC Certified Cyber Professional (CCP)
• Highly organized with a proven aptitude for risk identification and management.
• Possesses an engaging can-do attitude with exceptional customer focus and adaptability to dynamic environments.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:

As part of your responsibilities, you will provide oversight and guidance to ensure adherence to our company’s Security Policy Frameworks, as well as any specific security requirements set by our valued customers. You will play a key role in producing and maintaining documentation that aligns with both our company’s standards and customer expectations.

Collaboration with external security accreditation authorities will be essential in achieving agreement and sign-off for security criteria and controls. Additionally, you may be called upon to contribute to cybersecurity incident response investigations and remediation efforts when necessary.
