Company Introduction

We have an exciting opportunity now available with one of our sector-leading Finance clients! They are currently looking for a Senior Cloud Engineer to design, implement, maintain all aspects of the Azure cloud platform environment.

Job Responsibilities/Objectives

You will report to the Infrastructure Manager and you will be responsible for the following

1. Deploying and configuring new solutions to meet business needs, using DevOps methodologies and automation
2. Troubleshooting, supporting, and maintaining the platform, ensuring stability and up time. Identifying root causes and responding to incidents and service requests within defined SLAs
3. Following the defined process for raising changes and attending weekly CAB
4. Managing and updating automated deployment tools, including infrastructure-as-code terraform scripts
5. Support the Azure cloud infrastructure, security, developers and cloud application owners in knowledge transfer and troubleshooting

Required Skills/Experience

The ideal candidate will have the following:

1. Azure Database (SQL, Cosmos)
2. Azure AD
3. Azure Firewalls
4. Serverless technologies (Apps, functions, logic apps)
5. Azure containerisation
6. VPN
7. Terraform

Desirable Skills/Experience

1. Azure Database
2. Azure Certified
