Senior Front End Developer

Reporting of the Role

This role reports to the Front End Lead

Overview of job

We are looking for an experienced React developer with a passion for high quality code. You will be joining our Commercial Technology engineering team, being a part of product decisions, from inception through to release.

The role is focused on our proprietary Digital Ad Exchange (DAX) systems, where you will have the opportunity to build and iterate products that manage DAX audio bookings, approval, scheduling, proof of playout and ultimately audience delivery & attribution. It is expected that these services will be available to Globallers and ultimately launched to clients.

This is a hybrid role which will require you to be office based 3 days a week in Holborn, London and 2 days working from home.

• Delivered several large features to the fulfilment parts of our business.
• Followed good development practice and taken part in code reviews.
• Taken time to understand the business context and future roadmap.

Responsibilities of the role

• Developing features for the business.
• Developing reusable component libraries that power our applications.
• Be part of code reviews and other practices in the team to help maintain a high technical standard.
• Mentor more junior team members.

What you will need

The ideal candidate will be proactive and willing to develop and implement innovative solutions, capable of the following:

• Self-starting, problem solving attitude.
• Demonstrable experience of good coding patterns and understanding of functional programming.
• Demonstrable experience in Typescript, React, GraphQL, Restful APIs.
• A commitment to testing – experience of writing and maintaining unit tests
• Experience with working in a sociable, cross-functional team.
• An eye for detail and the desire to make sure things are done right.
