Columbia Threadneedle Investments has more than 800 Salesforce users spread across EMEA, Asia and North America. The Salesforce team are responsible for the strategic CRM product delivery, including the ongoing enhancement programme and day to day support.
In your role as Salesforce Product Manager you will provide CRM ecosystem product expertise and leadership that supports and drives both strategic solutions and BAU enhancements. You will have the ability to partner and influence internal teams and/or vendors to deliver high quality products within the expected timeframes and planned roadmaps.
This is a hands-on role that will include day-to-day product management responsibilities and strategic designing. In this role you will collaborate closely with key business stakeholders, product development and offshore engineering teams.
How you’ll spend your time
We are looking for someone with validated Leadership in prioritizing business requests, bringing together business requirements from business collaborators, writing user stories, and lead all aspects of end-to-end implementation and roll out plan. Work jointly with Head of CRM platform to improve the value of delivered solutions and ensure they meet collaborators’ needs.
Be the SME on all tools within the platform. Demonstrable experience working in a product management role (ideally Salesforce or another CRM tool).
Deliver an annual portfolio of high-profile Salesforce CRM projects (in terms of complexity, risk and/or business criticality) through effective management.
Translate business requirements into efficient solutions demonstrating Salesforce tried and tested practices. Act as a decision maker on daily scrum calls and sprint planning to drive effective backlog management.
Act as bridge and partner between business stakeholders and offshore engineering teams
Work effectively with business partners, vendors and staff to develop the project agenda and ensure agreement/adoption of project objectives/deliverables by affected constituencies. Provide proactive project communication to project owner. Work to identify cross-organizational interdependencies and ensure appropriate integration to project plan. Effectively manage client expectations and resource requirements to ensure ownership and success.
Identify and implement Salesforce standard methodologies to enable business processes and outcomes. Partner with product managers (Customer experience, Sales Enablement) for Marketing Technology to ensure effective integration. Communicate frequently business collaborators to ensure IT updates are communicated on a consistent basis.
Validated maturity and efficiency in leadership of technical projects and teams. Experience in delivering technical solutions through both vendors, offshore and onshore, and employee resources.
Highly effective communication skills that includes the ability to deliver technical information to non-technical audiences.
Actively champion and contribute to the continuous improvement of CRM programme best practices.
To be successful in this role you will have
Vast, related experience required.
Extensive experience in developing and implementing Salesforce CRM Solutions.
Strong knowledge of Agile practices, quarterly PI planning and backlog management.
Successful track record of delivering projects that meet business goals as well as time, budget and quality guidelines.
You have experience working and collaborating with offshore teams. You have strong verbal and written communication skills with ability to present sophisticated information in understandable way to all levels of the organization.
You can quickly build rapport, credibility, trust, and respect throughout the organization at all levels.
You can work independently with little direction or direct supervision.
Shown achievements in planning, advising and implementing sophisticated projects on time, within budget and with desired functionality.
Validated maturity and efficiency in leadership of technical projects and teams. Experience in delivering technical solutions through both vendors, offshore and onshore, and employee resources.
Experience with setting technology strategy in alignment with business priorities.

Strong analytic and problem solving skills.

Expert skills in project management methodologies, processes and industry standard tools.
